I am not confused about where my tax dollars are going. Most is being wasted, diverted to other things , burned up inefficiently, ODOT Supervisors stole $6 million in equipment and are now using my taxes sitting in prison, $4 million to restore a concrete stairway in LA Grande (Eastern Oregon University). The OHSU Tram that cost $57 million instead of $15.5 million,
$135 million to build Tillicum Bridge with ZERO car capacity, Light Rail that is a financial disaster, several coins squandered on CRC. But our desperately needed third lane on I-205 is canceled, Highway 43 in West Linn - Lake Oswego area has been falling apart for years.
Tolls are VERY inefficient and so unfair to our area. Diversion will be devastating to our communities and to an already a stop & go I-5, Until Tolls even out.
I worked in a Supermarket when the bag charge started. Oregonians will go to great lengths to avoid paying, even a small amount to avoid what we feel is unfair. People that are wealthy are in this group.
We need help from all our legislators, Federal and State.
