Multiple opinions from both sides of tolling...
The voices are getting louder… and it seems that is the case on both sides of the tolling projects.
This week we bring you 2 articles from ODOT, 1 & 3, which are in print and video respectively. While the City of West Linn and its City Council weigh in with article 2 below.
Also, included in our “Expert Commentaries”, you will find Clackamas County’s Mayor letter to ODOT. With 14 Mayors, Clackamas County, and a few of the Transit entities chiming in, ODOT has got to listen and respond, right?
In our podcast interview, with Canby Mayor Brian Hodson, we get a better feel of how this small, safe city is about to get over-run. Note, about 3/4 of the way thru the interview, the Mayor mentions how ODOT might be waiting 12-18 months before addressing diversion traffic. ODOT’s wait and see program?
Article 1 - ODOT is keeping us up to date on the I-205 Abernathy Bridge improvements with this newsletter. Informative, as to the project, and encouraging, as you can see how they want to improve your drive experience in the near future.
Article 2 - The City of West Linn and its City Council show you and ODOT some of their concerns with tolling thru their city. They also want to remind us that the comment period on the Environmental Assessment Study end April 21st.
Article 3 - KGW’s interview with ODOT’s Brendan Finn, the Director, Urban Mobility Office. How do you feel about tolling now?
