On this weeks podcast we interview Jonathan Maus, the Editor and Publisher of Bikeportland.com. NO it is not about Bikes. His article of the Joint Committee on Transportation is also one of weekly articles. A good listen and a good read, along with a video of the Joint Committee on Transportation meeting of 1-19-23.

In Short

Article 1 - This Bike Portland piece gives a look at the internal struggles within the Joint Committee on Transportation.

Article 2 - Attached is the video of the Joint Committee on Transportation. This meeting took place on 1-19-23.

Article 3 - In 2020 a Benefit Cost Analysis was completed on adding a 3rd lane to I-205. Unless we are missing something, the analysis showed a definite benefit to adding a lane from Stafford Road to OR43. Now ODOT says that unless there is tolling the 3rd lane will never be built… but there is no promise it will be built with tolling either. We have attached the 7 page analysis below.
